Light and fast

Only what is needed gets loaded, so it will not weigh your site down. Pages stay quick even on phones and slower connections.

Starter theme

A foundation to build on. Start here and layer your own design on top.

Minimal templates

Templates are kept to the essentials, so you build your site up rather than starting by tearing things out.

Built to be customised

Made to be changed. With decoration kept to a minimum, it is easy to swap in your own design.

Responsive

The layout adapts automatically to desktop, tablet and phone screens.

Typography with white space

Generous line spacing and white space, with a clear step between headings and body text, so pages read calmly instead of feeling crowded.

Block editor ready

Edit pages and posts in the standard WordPress block editor and see them as they will appear. No page builder plugin needed.

Full site editor support

Headers, footers and every page template can be edited from Appearance → Editor. No PHP files to touch.

Patterns easy to add

Common sections come ready as block patterns. Pick one from the block inserter to drop a finished layout into any page.

Easy to extend

A straightforward structure, so adding features or styles never turns into guesswork.

Child theme friendly

Easy to build a child theme on. Your own changes survive when the parent theme updates.

Easy to set up

Install, activate and you are ready to go. No complicated setup.

Simple UI

A pared-back interface that lets your words and images take the lead.
